The officer said that since he made the evasive action to try and miss her, it saved her life as well as the 4 kids in the minivan with her. Had he not swerved he probably would have flipped the van over, no doubt in my mind. Fucking woman got out and said she was late to get her daughter to her basketball game. The worst part is that she lives 3 blocks away from where it happened and know that the traffice going the way she was has to stop and that the cross traffic does not. Hell the the intersection has a flashing red light a stop sign and a sign that says "Cross traffic does not stop"
He is taking it much better then I would be but it will all work out in the end.
